Building a $2B product innovation for Target from the ground up.
Filled with offers and insider deals, Cartwheel was a product created to helped guests save more money on the things they already love at Target. We worked closely with the Target team to build the entire brand experience from the ground up. From branding, visual identity, user experience, badging system and multiple social first ad campaigns, we helped bring a production innovation to life. And it worked.
Results: The Cartwheel platform grew across web, iOS and Android to 35M users and 15M monthly active users, generating $2B in annual revenue for Target.

Cartwheel’s identity and user experience was designed to be a natural extension of the Target brand. Like the Skipper to Target’s Barbie, every verbal and visual choice was born from the foundation of this iconic brand and complimented the lifestyle and appetite of their most loyal guests.
